Research Orientation at EHB
Research and Knowledge Transfer as Part of the Third Mission
Research activities at EHB are characterized by their participatory and transfer-oriented approach. At EHB, transfer is understood as an ongoing dialogue between the university — as an educational institution for the SAGE professions — and practitioners, institutional cooperation partners in the SAGE field, as well as actors in politics, business, and civil society.
Research and knowledge transfer form one of the three pillars of EHB’s Third Mission. The goal of these activities is to analyze the diversity of life situations and support needs of professionals and target groups in educational, social, ecclesiastical, or clinical fields and to contribute to transforming professional practice, taking broader societal frameworks into account.
