Research Areas

Collective Research Expertise at EHB
EHB's research areas represent the collective expertise of the professors and the entire academic staff at EHB, spanning a total of eight subject areas. These research areas refer to a level of knowledge and competencies that goes beyond the research focuses for which EHB is represented on the HRK Research Map, as well as beyond a differentiation based on competence areas along the professional fields for which EHB provides education (SAGE – Social Work, Health, and Education).
Designating this expertise as collective has two main goals: First, it makes visible to potential cooperation partners and funding or commissioning entities for research and development projects the topics and perspectives being worked on at EHB. Second, the research areas encourage internal exchange and knowledge transfer, contributing to further cross-program and interdisciplinary collaborations.
