In May 2024, our in-depth project on social work with families affected by addiction from an international perspective undertook a study trip to Budapest, Hungary, together with our lecturers Prof. Dr. Stefanie Sauer and Christian Gedschold. The study trip, which was financially supported by Erasmus, lasted five days.

Here you can find a review of the trip, written by Fernanda Loredo and Christina Tsitiridou, students in Module 5.1 of the specialization project Social work with families affected by addiction from an international perspective (summer semester 2024). Link to review

current figures (as of 2024)

Both professional and practice-oriented: The recognised high quality of education at EHB is characterised by intensive and professional supervision within the degree programs as well as a high level of proven competence in the fields of social work, health/nursing, education and religion (SAGE). Through internships, project work and theses, the university maintains contacts with facilities and institutions in the social and health care industry as well as with the Diakonie and the Protestant Church. It is considered a competent partner for both practice-oriented teaching as well as application-oriented research within the education and learning market.
